By blending aesthetic, craniofacial and microsurgery, Dr. Rodriguez and his multi-disciplinary team provide an avenue for the restoration of human appearance and function for individuals with devastating composite facial disfigurement. He will discuss innovative technologies used in face transplants, including the combination of computer-assisted planning and intraoperative navigation to provide solutions for previously unpredictable problems. He'll also describe the challenges of immunotherapy as one of the leading obstacles to the success of transplants.
