Combatting infectious diseases around the world has been a focus for military medicine for more than a century. The threat from the Ebola outbreak in West Africa last year prompted an unprecedented military medical response from the Department of Defense. Military physicians, public health and infectious disease specialists and medical logisticians were organized to combat the outbreak.

Attend this dynamic panel discussion to hear directly from Army and Navy physicians and researchers on their efforts to fight the disease. A demonstration of personal protective equipment and the Naval Medical Research Center's mobile lab and staff members will be available to answer questions and highlight the lab's capabilities.

FREE! Open to the public. No RSVP required.
