Join historian Guy R. Hasegawa for a talk on the manufacturing of artificial limbs during the Civil War, including how they were provided to amputees during the conflict. Hasegawa will discuss his new book, “Mending Broken Soldiers: The Union and Confederate Programs to Supply Artificial Limbs.”
